WE ARE AIMING TO COMPLETE ROW 6 BY DAYS END!
Well, the blocks are there .....
as you can see from the back close-up, the mortar is at stage 2
very rough!.. Dear Sara does the manual touch-up on every joint .. bringing us to the final stage, #3.
Each row of 9 blocks is taking us about 2.5 hours, making for a very long day with cleanup added on.
Waldo says the final product looks pretty good ... for amateurs, we haven't done too badly.
.......WE REALLY ARE HAVING FUN!
We started this project on August 18, a veeery long time ago.Whatever they pay guys that do this for a living, it's not nearly enough!
